GS4trade - Online broker targeted by BaFin
The alleged online broker GS4trade claims to be a reputable platform for online trading. However, there is increasing information that there are many inconsistencies at GS4trade. More and more traders are reporting telephone terror, rip-offs and investment fraud at GS4trade. Many have lost their capital invested with GS4trade. Serious doubts make themselves broad. Meanwhile many investors of the GS4trade have the feeling that it concerns an investment fraud. All investors of the GS4trade ask themselves whether they became victims of investment fraudsters? And what can the investors of GS4trade do if the suspicion of investment fraud is confirmed? How do the investors of GS4trade get their money back? Does it make sense to file a criminal complaint against GS4trade with the police? What help is available in case of investment fraud?
GS4trade: Suspicious assurances
What are the unsuspecting prospective customers being presented with on gs4trade.com? "Founded in 2011, the Gs4trade brand is the world leader in online trading, bringing the power of the financial markets to a global audience, no matter where they are or what their financial ambitions...Since our launch in 2011, over 2 million people worldwide have chosen gs4trade as their trading partner, and thousands of new traders join every month. ..We are regulated in multiple jurisdictions and offer full segregation of funds for retail clients for all of our services...Wherever you are in the world, we keep your funds with top-rated banks, completely segregated from the firm's assets." This is just one small example of the untrustworthy assurances prospective clients find on GS4trade's website. None of these given assurances by GS4trade have been kept. Unfortunately, the disturbing business practices rather provide for disappointed investors and miserable experiences!
GS4trade: Hide-and-seek game with the domain entry!
Remarkable for the business practices of the GS4trade makers is that the website does not contain an imprint. Thus, the complete information about the legally responsible operators of the website is missing. If one takes a look at the domain data of the web page of GS4trade at, no references to the operators are to be found there. However, one learns that the domain was registered with GoDaddy.com, LLC. only on 09/28/2020. The real domain owners are hiding behind the Indian software service provider Intivion Technologies.
GS4trade: Who is behind it?
Answering this question will be rather difficult for many investors, as the GS4trade makers do everything to conceal the true circumstances. However, this is nothing unusual. The perpetrators mostly operate several of these websites with the same fraudulent business model. These are created in advance, quickly put online and just as quickly shut down. The top-level domain is often changed to deceive financial regulators and law enforcement agencies. But who is the operator? On the website of GS4trade there is only scanty information about this. Although the company GS4trade InvestLIMITED with the business address Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Marshall Islands MH96960 is given, the makers of GS4trade cannot be found under this address. Besides there is an obligatory support email address and the German phone number +496996759532.
GS4trade: The customer acquisition of the investment cheats
Here the same procedure can be found again and again: In order to attract new investors, the offers of GS4trade are advertised in all available media and channels. Not infrequently, the offers are false claims. To increase the deception, they upload promotional videos on Youtube, in which interested investors are convinced with fictitious references. Here, supposed celebrities report on their experiences with online trading and cryptocurrencies, often with a misleading reference to the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen". At the same time, an affiliate program is usually started to incite others to beat the advertising drum for GS4trade.
GS4trade: criminal business practices.
As soon as the customer has registered on the trading platform, he receives calls from alleged financial brokers who like to refer to their years of experience and their satisfied customer base. In many cases, however, the makers of this business model are fraudsters, against whom the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) also warn. Usually the investors start with a small sum as employment. Beforehand, investors are also often motivated to install remote maintenance software, such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer on their computers, so that assistance can supposedly be provided with the first steps. In many cases, the computer is subsequently manipulated and unwanted transactions are carried out. In the process, the investment fraudsters also frequently gain access to their victims' online banking. What is particularly criminal, however, is when supposed profits are displayed on the trading platform in order to entice the customer to place further high stakes. In some cases, even small sums are returned in order to lull investors into a sense of security. Who then does not want to further increase the stakes? But what happens next?
GS4trade: Repayment of the money is attached to conditions
Once in, an exit is mostly impossible. Rather, the administrators of the investment scammers tie a repayment of the money to further deposits. This is where employees come in, claiming alleged tax debts and commission payments. If these are settled, it would come to the disbursement of the allegedly obtained profits. The perpetrators send the investors self-made tax and commission statements, often decorated with fake coats of arms. These would have to be paid urgently. A clearing with the allegedly obtained profits, is never possible. If an investor refuses further deposits, alleged profits are converted by senseless transactions into losses and the customer maximally damaged. This is not the end of the horror, but investors are permanently confronted with calls from other dubious providers. This indicates that the contact details of the investors are further traded among the investment fraudsters. In the end, a "savior" regularly comes forward, claiming to have uncovered the whole scam. He impresses with his insider knowledge. No wonder, since he is part of the fraud gang. The next rip-off! And of course the "savior" wants a small fee - in advance!
GS4trade: Scheme of investment fraud?
There is no authorization of the trading platform GS4trade. GS4trade lacks regulation by a recognized European financial regulator, such as the English Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec), which is often used by brokers. Likewise, there is no approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (finma), which is responsible for Switzerland, or the Financial Market Authority (FMA) of Austria. For this there is a warning of the BaFin from 06.07.2021. It is easy to overlook that GS4trade is a scheme of capital investment fraud. All traders harmed by GS4trade are advised to consult an investment fraud lawyer as soon as possible.
GS4trade: Where do the investment fraudsters operate actively?
Certainly, GS4trade investors are dealing with investment fraud in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Unfortunately, GS4trade's activities are not limited to German-speaking countries. Since GS4trade also addresses English-speaking investors worldwide, it is not surprising that the defrauded traders of this group of speakers also come forward. A look at the list of regulators is recommended before any financial commitment to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of investment fraud.
GS4trade: Claims for damages against banks involved
For financial services and investment transactions in Germany, a permit from the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) is a mandatory requirement. Transacting, supporting or facilitating transactions of this kind, even across borders into Germany, is prohibited. Companies that nevertheless engage in this type of business are obligated to pay damages to the victims. The investment fraud cases would have been hardly realizable without such banks.
GS4trade: Investors want their money back!
The situation is fortunately better than it seems. The damaged investors can defend themselves and require invested money back. As of today it is rather unlikely that the investment fraudsters of GS4trade will be caught soon, but nevertheless there is reason to hope. This is especially true because the money was transferred through accounts provided by reputable financial institutions. Their responsible persons unfortunately failed to check the sometimes high and therefore controllable deposits of the investors and their forwarding for illegality. Delinquencies of this kind made possible the Anlagbetrügern their criminal work only.
GS4trade: They want their money back! How does that work?
With this knowledge the investors would not have got involved in an investment with GS4trade. Now the only alternative left for the deceived is to seek compensation for the loss. Many investors cannot even imagine that there is a real chance to ever see their money again. Probably all of them are now asking themselves whether they can get their money back? Clearly yes! There are numerous legal bases to fall back on. The generic term is "money laundering." When investment fraudsters collect money, the crime of money laundering is committed. Financial institutions have a duty to take action against money laundering. This is where one starts with good chances of success. For this purpose, important points have to be clarified. Where did the money embezzled by GS4trade go? Is there a possibility for the defrauded investors to get back their money invested with GS4trade? What are the next steps to be taken? A lawyer specialized in capital investment fraud will best answer such questions.
GS4trade: Who can help?
What to do in case of investment fraud? What help in case of investment fraud can the victims of GS4trade hope for? Victims of GS4trade will ideally find the help they need from an experienced investment fraud lawyer. He is able to take care of your case with GS4trade both in terms of the criminal aspects of the investment fraud, as well as the recovery of funds and possible claims for damages. A lawyer for trading also comes into question, because he is also familiar with the methods of fraudulent brokers, such as GS4trade.
